Myrtle Beach Golf Trip
This past weekend I went down to Myrtle Beach for my annual golf trip with my fraternity brothers from NC State. It was our 18th year and it was as always lots of fun. We go on a package deal which includes 3 rounds of golf, lodging at condos at Ocean Creek, and breakfast each day. We played one round early at the Surf Club in N Myrtle Beach and then played Grande Dunes and TPC Myrtle Beach in Murrels Inlet. It is an easy drive from Charlotte to the Grand Strand and there are several different ways to go depending on your preference. The roads between Charlotte and Myrtle Beach improve each year and over time we’ve found our drive times reduced. There is lots more to do in Myrtle Beach other than golf so there is never a dull moment.

Got something to say?

I’m glad you enjoyed your trip to Myrtle Beach. I’m a Real Estate agent in Myrtle Beach, and I love hearing people had a good time while visiting the area!
I have been going on this trip for many years and have been visiting since I was 10 years old-no matter where my family lived. I will keep you in mind if I have any needs in your area and please feel free to consider us a resource in this part of NC or upstate SC.

Good for you Keith! I miss Myrtle Beach so much since I moved to Phoenix, AZ 16 months ago. I miss the ocean (I have a house only 3 miles from the beach), I miss the nature and the cozy feeling from just being there, the seasonality and of course the lack of traffic :)heh… The golf courses are beautiful over there - you should have taken a few photos while were there and posted in your blog
Max,
Lynn says hello. The desert is beautiful, but I’m a water person and know what you mean when you talk about the ocean. On this particular trip we don’t take any photos so that there won’t be any evidence!! If you are ever back this way let us know.

Hi Lynn!
May be some day I will go back. As far as photos go - it applies here as well, but here quick vacation is usually in Vegas ;)lol Flights sometimes as low as $30 one way, and takes only 50 minutes to fly there.
