Levine Children’s Hospital Fundraiser

Prudential Carolinas is teaming up to help raise funds for the newest addition to Carolinas Medical Center – Levine Children’s Hospital.  Scheduled to open this year, this state-of-the-art 12-story, 234 bed facility will be one of the three largest children’s hospitals in the Southeast!  With features such as extra beds in some rooms for parents who would like to spend the night with their child, a cardiac intensive care unit, and a 24-hour pediatric ER, this hospital will be like no other in the region.

On October 13, the Hope Builders 5k will be held around the Mint Museum of Art.  This event will include a 5k run, a 5k walk, and a 1 mile kids fun run.  The course winds through the beautiful Eastover neighborhood of Charlotte, with a post-race family festival afterwords.  Levine Children’s Hospital will receive 100% of the proceeds generated from this event.

Prudential Carolinas Realty is gearing up to have at least 100 local agents participating in this event (OK, so most of us will be walking . . .) in support of this worthwhile cause.  Join us in this fun event and stay fit at the same time.
