Laughing Instead of Grumbling
Making our clients happy is our goal here with Schwebel & Associates. We can talk all day long about how good we think our service is, but the best recommendations come directly from satisfied clients. Case in point - recent buyers who purchased an older home in Charlotte that seemed to have one obstacle after another throughout the entire process. The entire transaction was a classic example of why you should use a licensed REALTOR. But in the end, they were completely happy with their home and they have nothing but kind words for us:
"We want you to know how highly we think of you, Deb and, especially Keith. Keith is a college friend and fraternity brother of Chris’ and working with friends does not always go as well as our experience did with Keith. He handled all the headaches that went with our home purchase (many more than the typical fare), and he handled them in a way that left us laughing instead of grumbling.
We cannot thank him or you and Deb enough for all you did to help us find such a happy home. We felt we were in the best possible hands and have not hesitated to let everyone know that you guys never stop working for your clients. It’s true! Two weeks ago I called Keith with a plumbing issue and he connected me with a highly professional, competent plumber.
Thank you really doesn’t begin to express our gratitude. I can tell you this, as long as we have breath in our bodies, we will be using Keith for all our future real estate transactions.
We wish you all a wonderful Holiday and a blessed New Year."
Thank YOU, Amy & Chris. That is why we do what we do.
We’d love to help you with your next Charlotte real estate transaction!
Wings & Ribs
With Buffalo Wings and Ribs so hot these days (no pun intended) as a restaurant item, it’s always fun to check out a new spot and do some on-site quality control testing.
This past weekend we tried Carolina Wings & Rib House (14015 Conlan Circle in Ballantyne). The food was amazing! We had ribs - pick up a bone and the meat slides off, wings - several varieties available, and each one we tasted was outstanding and very meaty, and shrimp - cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning.
There were several tv’s around showing all of the important games, and some interesting and varied draft choices. Not surprisingly, no one left disappointed.
If you are having a hankerin’ for some mouth watering ribs & wings, check out Carolina Wings & Rib House - you won’t be sorry!

Charlotte’s Four Seasons
Yesterday I was lucky enough to spend some time outside. I had to visit our new listings to take photos and write the brochures. It was a beautiful day; around 75 degrees, sunny, the smell of Autumn in the air. And I noticed that the trees are staging a spectacular show this year! I was lucky enough to make a day trip to the mountains last week, when the colors there had just peaked, and now I get to see it all over again in Charlotte. While it’s not New England, we do get beautiful color and quite a variety. Pines and cypress trees add a nice green background to those trees that do change. We’ve had a few weeks now of perfect Autumn weather - mid 70’s, sunny, cool evenings, but not too cool to sit out on the deck with friends. These are the days that I enjoy the most in Charlotte.
Winter may bring some snow (and ice, usually), Spring will bring lots of wet (the better for all of our flowering trees and shrubs), and Summer will be spent by the side of a pool sipping a cool drink. But Fall, with the crisp air, clean skies, and changing leaves will always be a favorite.
Living in Charlotte is the perfect solution for those who are tired of shoveling snow and slogging through slush, yet don’t want to forgo winter entirely. We have it all!
