What Real Estate Bubble?

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

Does misery love company?  I suspect that the people that are predicting this Real Estate bubble don’t live in Charlotte North Carolina and want others to be in the same situation as them.

I’ve been in real Estate as an agent for the past 15 years, purchased 3 homes, help thousands of other achieve the American dream so I can speak first hand!  Charlotte continues to be a strong and steady housing market.  The key word here is steady!  Yes we haven’t seen the appreciation rate of other cities but we continue to be constant.  In fact I just purchased a new home in January of this year and already realized an appreciation of 26%.  It all goes back to the concept of location and timing.  So I ask you, what Real Estate bubble?

Simonini Builders, a trusted name in custom home building for over 30 years, has announced a new Charlotte area project.  Stephens Square will be located in the heart of Myers Park at the corner of Queens Road West and Selwyn Avenue.

The intimate community is limited to 10 stately City Residences, blending perfectly with the historic surroundings.  The traditionally inspired townhomes have been designed by Meyer-Greeson-Paullin.

Amenities will include private courtyards, elevators, 2-car attached garages, and a gated entry.  Sizes will range from 3,523 to 4,435 square feet.

Panthers Win For Charlotte!

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

Hey hey hey!  The Panthers and the Chiefs both pull out a win for us, prompting Keith’s wife to bring in football shaped donuts from local favorite - Krispy Kreme!

Krispy Kreme actually got it’s start in nearby Winston-Salem when Vernon Rudolph bought the recipe from a french chef in New Orleans.  On July 13, 1937, he began selling the tasty treats in grocery stores.  The public began asking for ‘hot’ donuts, and the rest is history (really tasty history!).  Nowadays, it takes a pretty strong willed stomach to pass by a lit up “Hot Donuts Now” neon sign without pulling over to buy some!

Charlotte dining… The choice is endless

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

Never did I think that 25 years ago we’d have the choices we do today.  The other evening my wife and I were trying to decide where to go for dinner.  She likes casual and I like more upscale.  So guess who won?  Well we put the top down to the convertible (by the way it would be too cold to do it back in New York) and headed out.  There are so many casual places to dine that are way above fast food that we just drove around and around, enjoyed the scenery and went to a place that overlooks fountains and plays nice music and had salads and ice cream for dessert.  It doesn’t get any better.  So if you are into knowing what’s where just send me a note!
